A self-made Photo Book which is giving you impressions from squat situations. I made these photos in three different places and in the end I realized that cooking and eating always played a role. So that's why the name of the book. After I made my grid layout I was planing to bind my book with needle and string by my own. What i did:

By deleting the i-frames and continously pasting one p-frame i got this nice result. I tried to do as much Damage as possible and at the same time i tried to keep the information flow running. The sound i destroyed with an AudioUnit Plugin for Garageband called Livecut. The cool thing what i found out in Garageband is that the video preview has a glitch when you use dual screen. So when you drag the preview from one screen to the other you get a shaking video what reacts on the sound from Garageband. And here some nice Tutorials - Part 1 2 3 -

A Design for an "Quartett" card game wich i called "Panotett".

You can play it in the classical way. You are collecting four parts of an panorama picture. For example: You are trying to get all cards from "Montmartre" and every single card has a part of the name with a color.

nt (red)
mar (green)
tre (yellow)

The color shows you the order in wich you can puzzle the panorama together and the "syllable" mo-nt-mar-tre you need to say when you ask your takers. Like this... Phillip do you have "yellow tre" or Phillip i need "Montmartre yellow"

We all have images from the past in our mind... I tried to collect mine and brought them together. I started with my Childhood and took 10 personal Pictures. Next step was to get some when I grew up. This was the time when I explored my local area. Here I took 20 Pictures from places wich I still have in mind. And last but not least i took 30 pictures from the world. The most of them i have seen in the media. As you can see the Pictures have a big difference from my personal once. I found it interesting and learned a lot about myself. How I see the world and how I interact with my surroundings.

Analysis

Personal

This Image shows my parents and myself in the year 1985. We are on the way to some friends of my mum and walking along the street having fun. Its taken in „Lippstadt“ where my Grandmother lived. When you follow the street into the back you will go in to the City and to my Grandmothers house. I find it interesting what my parents are wearing and what kind of red car it is. These nice baby trolley is really famous in our Family. My Brothers and my sister where all sitting in it. Yes also my mum and here sister.
I walked this way often and i know how it change over the years. These old trees on the right i will never forget. Also these old houses in the back. This image is so interesting for me because there are a lot of elements in it, that bring some clear pictures combined with feeling for me. I remember a lot of different things from different times with this single picture. Our friends where we are going lived on the countryside on a farmhouse. They are a big family. with 9 children‘s or so. the oldest one was 30 for example and the youngest was just a baby. We always visited them because the mother of them was a good friend of my mum. Nowadays we don‘t have contact with them anymore and my mum and my dad split up. So the relations changes like the surroundings in this picture.

Local

This Picture is made close to my village where I grew up. in the back you see the bird-park „Rieselfelder“ one of the biggest nature-reserve in Europe for birds. They come here to make a rest during there long travels. The water in the front i a man-made channel for ships. Here we went swimming in the summer an it is the fastest way by bike along the water to come to Münster. So this Picture has for me again a lot of Picture in one. I think of the sound of goose's when they fly over our house. I remember when I drove with my bike along the channel and the fog was glowing in sunrise after a party. And i have been a lot of times in the nature reserve and made photos with my dad together. This Picture reflects the atmosphere of this area really good. For me it is peace and rest from struggled live.

World

Mmh. This is really hard. As you can see. And i don‘t wanna talk much about it.
I don‘t want to believe the official Story anymore. Since i have seen the Scientific facts from Prof. Niels Harrit which are the first evidence what we have got, i don‘t believe it anymore. What i can say is that i learned a lot since this moment. Pictures that come from outside from the mass-media are most of the times filtered and photoshopped in short. Manipulated. That means we are manipulated by these pictures when we don‘t know about this manipulations. This also means you can't trust Pictures anymore. We can't save us from these lies. So i try to be aware to just believe in something. I don‘t like these easy judgement. We don‘t know the truth just because our TV is talking the whole day. But i study these manipulations and i know how bad it can be. I hope i find my right way through the media world. And i hope someday we will know the truth.

Finding the right typeface is also not a simple task. Here my typosheets from "Roman Empire" (Charlemagne), "Napoleon Empire" (Garamond) and "Mac Empire" (Calibri). Times and the Courier are in between.

Color Adventure

Mixing the right color with tempera is a handcraft. You need to get the feeling for the proportion in wich two colors give you a secondary one.

Three-colour mixing system

Primary colours
With the three primary colours lemon yellow, cyan (blue) and magenta (red) we can mix any colour hue we wish. These colours are called primary because they cannot be mixed from other colours. The prin- ciples of mixing can be learned using primary colours.

To begin with, we mix yellow with blue, blue with red and red with yellow. That gives us green, violet and orange. The proportion in which the colours are mixed depends on the tinting strength of the paint.

If we mix the colours next to each other in the six-colour circle, we obtain six new colours.

"The Idiot Guide"

The campaign against bad handshaking. I choose as title "The Idiot Guide" because i think you should not think to much about handshaking when you are in action. This campaign gives you some really simple instructions. So don't take it too serious... Handshaking is a natural thing, only idiots need a step by step instruction.

Urban Architecture - A0 Poster

This design is based on triangleshapes. It is a kind of kiosk and constructed from steel with a glass roof. The little shop inside is the only non-transparent part, made of nutwood, wich is covered also by the glass for protection. For me the transparent light design fits perfectly into the nature. This building could be placed in parks or on a lake. You feel free in this open space and you are save from rain and wind. So this canopy room is perfect for a break and to drink your coffee or whatever.

Gestalt psychology or gestaltism (German: Gestalt - "form" or "whole") of the Berlin School is a theory of mind and brain positing that the operational principle of the brain is holistic, parallel, and analog, with self-organizing tendencies, or that the whole is different from the sum of its parts. The Gestalt effect refers to the form-forming capability of our senses, particularly with respect to the visual recognition of figures and whole forms instead of just a collection of simple lines and curves. In psychology, gestaltism is often opposed to structuralism and Wundt. Often, the phrase "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts" is used when explaining Gestalt theory.

This HDR Panorama should tell you following story called "Moon Kite"

Alexandra looks at the moon. Tonight the moon is as round as a ball, as round as an orange, as round as a balloon.

“I’m waiting for the moon to fall into my room. I’m going to keep it. I will tie some string around it and fly my ‘moon kite’ in the park. Nobody will be allowed to touch it,” Alexandra says to her mom. “Nobody but me.”

“The moon can’t fall through your window,” says Mom.

“The moon is smiling at me,” she says.

“Yes, it is,” says Mom. “Tomorrow I will give you one of my balloons, the yellow one. We can tie a longer string to it, and it will be like having your own little moon.”

The next morning they tie a long piece of string to the yellow balloon. Then they go to the park, and Alexandra flies her “moon kite” balloon. It looks like the moon in the sky, and Alexandra is holding it tight.
